Before you let this guy toy with your emotions, not being involved yet, find out if his flirting with you, is what he's telling everyone else too. Then I would seriously test his emotions. Ask to hang out, even as friends, and see how it goes. Then talk to him about your "status" your "future" and your relationship.

Do u really want a boyfriend who drives u insane because he flirts with other girls? and u have to keep asking urself what should I do?
If u can't do anything about him flirting with other girls because u like him, think about how it will be if he was ur boyfriend.
He's not gonna stop flirting with other girls if u were his girlfriend, all he gonna do is keep flirting, driving u insane and leaving u to ask what should I do?
Get urself a guy who doens't flirt with other girls and will show u respect and will like u and ONLY u
