My children were planned. It was for me the next stage of life. I was in my late 30's and still had more fun with kids then adults. My wife and I were married 3 years so we went for it. The first was a Boy. A lot of work but a lot of joy. I get to watch cartoons every day and blame him. As he grows I blame my need to play sports on him and video games and go to Disney movies. I'm still a big kid and I have a little one to play with.
Warning it is a lot of fun but is a lot of work. Time and money needed.

I did not want to have children, but ended up having two, a girl and then a boy. And I am soooooo very glad that I did. Yes, both were unplanned, as is probably 90% of the children in this world, I would guess. My children are grown now, and I look forward to the day when they have an "Oops", or two of their own. It is, after all, what we were made to do (among other things), to live life, give life, and go on to the next life.

Most parents would admit that their children were not planned, and a few might even admit that they were not prepared for the challenge of parenting, but I've met only one parent honest enough to admit that he wanted nothing to do with the child after it was born. My experience demonstrates to me that most parents are unfit and undeserving of children. Thus, so many screwed-up, obnoxious, and downright dangerous kids.

If children were planned, they would never be born.
I wanted to have children, and someone to share life's experiences with. I have 3 boys, though I hope to someday adopt other children and foster some too, to help them understand life better since they don't have any one else to turn to.
