I'm looking for some fun things for people aged 10 and over. If anyone lives there/has lived there/has been there and has some cool spots, that would be awesome! The sites look cool and everything, but nothing beats personal experience! Thanks!

There are many parks. We took my 8 year old daughter there this summer and she was fine. The Barcelona zoo is not to be missed! They have some playgrounds/parks there that are great, and the other children are happy to let them join in regardless of the language barrier. It is a much better zoo than most I have been to in the US, and offers the exhibits in multiple languages.

The Rambla is a source of endless amusement, particularly the street performers. She was not particularly interested in the Dali or Picasso museums, but loved the Sagrada Familia, but was a little scared on the stairs, but did okay. If time and money permits, take the overnight ferry to Palma, Mallorca, and go to some beaches on the islands. Gorgeous. The ferry was a fun concept for her, with the restaurant, amusement, etc.

Another cool place to check out with the kids and to have a coffee or a drink is "El Bosc de les Fades" The Fairy's Woods.
It's on a little side street near the Wax Museum (Museo de Cera) just off the Ramblas.

I loved Parc Guell, with the architecture of Gaudi. It's incredible, but would probably not hold the attention of younger kids for very long. There is always the beach! I would recommend walking there through Las Ramblas to see the street performers, then the beach, and returning to get some food! Good luck!
