i can talk to my girlfriend about things like buying a house, buying a car, where to go on getways, etc... but let me talk about things i want sexually she has a cow. we have been dating since jan and in the beginning sex was the best i had ever had (and im 46) and i told her so. then after we moved in together she decided to change our relationship from what she calls a "sex based" to a "love based" relationship. when i tell her they are one and the same thats when the sparks fly. But if i talk about buying a bmw, mercedes, etc, shes all ears. wyn do woman act this way

Sounds like you got the old bait/switch maneuver. That's the standard m.o. of women. They real you in with some sex, then when they get you to commit, they simmer down and coast with occasional "maintainance sex."

i beg to differ.... i am happily married and me and my husband keep open to all topics weather we agree or not. sex is no different. have u tried asking her why she is uncomfortable with talking about sex? try listening to what she has to say. also important tip dont forget to romance her. you can want all u want to but if she doesnt feel romance then her sex drive will suffer. suprise her with something romantic and let it go from there!
