Definitely go to Capone's Dinner and Show. It was awesome. It is set up like a 1920s speakeasy with gangsters and flappers. It has an Italian buffet, and the show was hilarious. I thought I would pee my pants. And it's more for adults.

My first choice as an adult is Disney's Epcot. There is a LOT to do there. Many of the best restaurants are there, Le Cellier in the Canada pavilion, San Angel in the Mexico pavilion are two of my favorites.
When we go we usually do the wine tastings in Italy, France and Germany. (I always buy a bottle for later! You don't have to carry it around the park, just ask that it be sent to the front of the park, and you pick it up on your way out)
Another thing to do at Epcot is to take the Segway Tour. It costs extra, but it is SO much fun!! We did this last week while we were there. (by the way the "we" I speak of is my son-age 25, my niece- age 40, myself- age 44) You have to book this in advance and it is $80 per person. It last for 2 hours. The first hour is training on how to use a Segway. This is a 2-wheeled vehicle that you stand on and ride around. The second hour they take you "touring the world". You ride around the World Showcase part of the park. It is great because that portion of the park isn't open yet and you drive through the shops and countries. Great fun!
Also, look into purchasing an Entertainment Book for Orlando area. You can get some good coupons for dining, these can easily recover what you pay for the book, plus it will give you an idea of what is around.
Have a great trip!

Disney does have several adult type venues...but my understanding is that Universal studios has a plaza with several restaraunts, including Emeril's and night spots that rock...I have been told that it is much better than Disney's Pleasure Island. We have not been yet because we have been too busy working, but everyone I have talked to likes it hands down over Disney's Pleasure Island. The Orlando Museum of Art is worth checking out and as far as the beach...the Beach Line Expressway (FL 528) takes you straight to Cocoa Beach in 45 mins. There are toll booths, but once in Cocoa, you have more to choose from...Cape Canaveral is nearby and Kennedy Space Center is a hop skip and a jump. As you drive into Cocoa, you will also see the cruise ships lined up at the docks, and if you are into Spanish American history, there are several Spanish forts along the coast towards St. Augustine. If you ride motorcyle's, Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona on I-4 is worth a visit...it's alarge, multi-story Harley Dealership that is open 24-7 except on Saturday nights. Orlando has several dinner theaters, depending on your ineterest...Arabian Knights, Midieval Times, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede, etc. And Sea World just added another segment to Shamu's show called "Believe". there's plenty to see and do. And if you like fishing, Kissimmee's Lake Toho is a world famous bass fishing spot. Blue Springs State Park above northeast Orlando will give you a clear place to swim and possibly spot a manatee or you can try Rock Springs or Wekiva Springs near Apopka on the Northwest side. Good luck and enjoy!

Disney World is a great place for adults! Here are some ideas:
* Dinner at Ohana, followed by a walk on the beach there right when the Magic Kingdom fireworks are going off;
* Dinner at the Mexico pavillion in Epcot, followed by a viewing of Illuminations;
* A day together at Blizzard Beach (it can be fun and romantic running around like kids at a water park);
All of the theme parks would be terrific for you. Many adults like MGM for thrills and Epcot for variety. Magic Kingdom gives you remembrance of childhood fantasies, and Animal Kingdom is about exploration and conservation.

There are some really wonderful restaurants in Disney that adults may appreciate more than their younger counterparts.
-Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco at the World Showcase in Epcot is wonderful and features a belly dancer at 12:55
-L'Originale Alfredo di Roma in Italy at the World Showcase in Epcot in wonderful adn also has strolling musicians
.
-The Deluxe resorts (and even the moderate) also have some fab restaurants!
-Downtown Disney has a great nightlife and the adventurer's club is SOOOO fun, lots of characters to interact with
-The parks offer some great tours, I loved the keys to the kingdom tour at the Magic Kingdom and Behind the Seeds at the land pavilion in Epcot, but there are plenty more to try depending on your interests
-check out the website below for details on everything I mentioned and more
But really just have fun, try to go on everything even if it doesn't look to be your cup of tea because the details are just amazing everywhere in WDW

The best parks for adults are Sea World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Bush Gardens (in Tampa). They have fast rollercoasters. There's a place called "Citiwalk" between Universal and Islands where you can hop from club to club and listen to jazz, blues, rock and latin music. There are many places to eat and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, where you can have a diversity of Margaritas. There are many dinner shows like Arabian Nights or Medieval Times. Along International Drive you'll find lots of different restaurants and clubs where you could go.
If you're going to the ocean, visit the Nasa Space Center near Cocoa Beach. Don't miss it.

Disneyworld is wonderful for big kids too! Try to visit all 4 of the Disney parks if you can. Typically, 1 day is plenty to spend at each park. However, if you are on a budget or time restaint, get a 2 day park hopper and split up the parks into 2 days. Visit Animal Kingdom and MGM on day 1 and Magic Kingdom and Epcot on day 2. Be sure to dine at one or more of the following locations:
Boma - Animal Kingdom Lodge
Victoria & Albert's - Grand Floridian (reservations required)
Ohana's - Polynesian Resort
Coral Reef - EPCOT
Wolfgang Puck's or Bongos - Downtown Disney
50's Prime Time Cafe - Disney MGM Studios
Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville - Universal's City Walk
If any of you enjoy golfing, Disney has several great golf courses to enjoy! The Circ De Sloei La Nuba show at Downtown Disney is great and be sure to go to Pleasure Island one night. Be sure to see a show at the comedy club there!
I recommend Siesta Key Beach for your ocean destination. It is about an hour and 45 minute drive south from Disney, but WELL worth it, trust me! Siesta Key is located on the Gulf side in Sarasota County. Just follow the I-4 south to Sarasota. At this beach you will find pure, baby powder soft white sand, a fun beach cabana pavilion area where they sell food, ice cream, and have a gift shop. Lifegaurds are on duty and the water is clear and beautiful! It's like leaving Florida and entering the Bahamas. I love it there. In January, it may be a little chilly, but check weather.com 1 week before you go so you know how to pack.

Lots of places, you will never see it all. Depends if this is a drinking adventure and night club or sight seeing and rides. I would skip the ocean. Daytona is the east side of Interstate 4 and is really commercialized. The West side of I-4 (Tampa) is more geared for adults and will be warmer in January (60 - 75 degrees) You might get into a hockey game Lightning or see the Bucs (oh yea, we don't have a QB anymore - skip that) Harbor island is a really nice spot and oh yea YBOR city is the best!
