No. There's no solution to reactivate the pancreas. It's now not a case of the pancreas being dormant. The cells that produce insulin in the pancreas are dead. There may be study into harvesting insulin producing cells from a donor (however the donor need to have died) and giving the cells to any individual with diabetes, however this has it can be own set of problems.
