For college, I need to read a book to present on. I REALLY want a book about children and disability and counseling them, or a perspective of a child growing up with a physical disability. If anyone knows any books please tell me. I've looked and looked and cant find anything. ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE SOOO HELPFUL!!!!

I am also studying disability. It can be difficult to find material that is current. I have found that anything written by Tom Shakespeare or Jenny Morris is current and informative.

Good luck!

There are a few books available on the TSA website, but those specialize in children with Tourette's Syndrome. I find that they are rater optimistic though if you want the real story go out and hang out with some of these kids.

Try a Medical School, They will have case histories and AMA articles that will give you a basis for your research.
