No; I don't think that Voldemort made Harry into a Horcrux -- but I think that he planned to make his final Horcrux with Harry's death. I don't know what he planned to use as the item, but it was probably a trophy owned by one of the four founders of Hogwarts. Peter Pettigrew probably picked it up when he took Voldemort's wand.
It is like Dumbledore said (when they discussed the possibility of Nagini being a Horcrux): although it is possible, it isn't wise to make a Horcrux with a living creature. The creature will die at some point, decompose and leave the soul fragment unprotected. The whole point of making a Horcrux is to protect a piece of one's soul so that they won't die. So that doesn't make any sense. Especially since Voldemort tried to kill Harry in Goblet of Fire. Why would he do that? It would destroy one of his precious soul fragments and he is terrified of dying. He could incapacitate him like the Longbottom's if he wanted to keep Harry from coming after him, but he tried to kill him.

Harry is not a Horcrux. First of all, a horcrux CANNOT be a person. Second of all, why would Voldie try to kill Harry multiple times (for the stone, in the chamber, in the graveyard, in the ministry...) if Harry dieing meant Voldie dying too. No, it doesn't make sense.

A horcrux can't be a live person, can it? I heard on the news that the writer hadn't decided if Harry Potter was going to die in the final book or not.

that makes a lot of sense, and to tell you the truth, that was what my best friend exactly hypothesized after reading the HBP...
but i think otherwise...
because i don't think Voldemort would have wanted to create a horcrux on someone who was meant to die (or who he wanted to die)...
but i'm not sure...
good question!

yes, harry n voldie die.i totally agree w. dan n emma's initial theories.since they know more than anyone n actually speak to ms rowling often..so they're w. d hints.also,i think tht harry is little equipped in dark arts c'prd to voldie so harry may lose out a bit.i doubt he could really match voldie equally.needs help fr hermione n ron esp hermione...but harry has to haf other ways to kill voldie..not mere dueling..cuz of d priori incantatem effect,

Sure does but how does Neville fit into the equation? I may be wrong but I could have sworn in one of the books it was mentioned that Neville was supposed to be the "Special " one. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I may have to go back and read books 5 & 6 to get this clear.

Yes, it makes sense... but I hope it doesn't happen that way. That would be the obvious way to end the book, so I'm hoping that JK doesn't decide to write it that way...
