When you start, stop or change brands of birth control pills, your cycle gets thrown off a little bit. It's normal for birth control pills to make your period lighter or none existant. If you are concerned about pregnancy, you can always take a home pregnancy test but, if you've been taking your pills correctly (same time everyday) and have not been taking medication that may lower the effectiveness of hbc (st johns wort, antibiotics, anticonvulsants and some mood stabilisers) it's highly unlikely. Your pill pamplet will tell you that if you miss 2 periods in a row to see a doctor so, take that home pregnancy test if you are worried and wait until next month if the test is negative.

I have been on this for a long time...my periods are very light and short. Your body goes through an adjustment period for a few months when taking hormones. Not to mention the fluctuation 7-7-7 has because it is not a consistnet dose of any one hormone all month.

Your cycle can get messed up when you start or stop taking birth control. Keep taking the pills according to the instructions and your period should stabilize after another month or two.

I was on 7/7/7 for 8 years and I loved it. My periods were regular to the minute, and very brief. Hardly worth mentioning at all.
