An object is traveling around a circle with a radius of 8 inches. If in a central angle of 1/7 radian is swept out , what are the linear and angular speeds of the object?

You need the time that has gone by. If it is t seconds, angular speed = (1/7)/t radians per second.

To find how far was traveled, 2 pi / (1/7) = 16 pi/ d where d = how far.

d = 8/7 in. So linear speed = (8/7)/t inches per second.
