sounds like you have a door and no instructions. As a last resort you could purchase a similar door, use the instructions, and return the door and the instructions. I wouldn't do it but you could. (wink wink)

The best resource I have found, short of ordering a duplicate installation guide from Black and Decker, if that's even possible, can be found at www.doityouself.com. The link that will take you directly to the article that gives comprehensive yet relatively simple and easy-to-follow installation instructions for a number of styles/sizes is: http://www.doityourself.com/bin/venda?ex=co_disp-view&bsref=doityourself&stry=h2installgaragedoor Following manufacturer instructions has never been my thing (I'd rather figure it out on my own, learning from mistakes that could have been otherwise avoided) but let me just say that this article was a lifesaver!

Good luck on the successful completion of your 'mission'! =) I hope my input will be of use to you. Take care-
Kelly

ive done the rollup door thing in a shop. Einstien couldnt have understood the instructions( and i cant spell.) my ex boss and i through together our own brackets and modified theirs, resulting in an easy installation if you dont count the door turning like a window pull down sash.
