Is there such a thing as a soul mate?

I always have believe there is someone out there that is meant for you and even if they have come and gone in your life sometimes maybe it was not meant to be then,but maybe some where down the line it will be.

A soulmate is the world's biggest goal and myth at the same time.

It is true some people have found they have met the soulmate.

First you need to define what the word means to you. Then you will realize what it is you want in a mate.

For most a soulmate is someone who when your eyes met the first few times you get weak in the knees and a flutter in your stomach. (btw this can happen more then once with multiple people in your life)

After the inital glow of new love wears away and life begins to get boring your 'soulmate' will still find you beautiful and love you during the following moments:
When your puking sick with the flu they hold your hair and bring you soup and tissues everytime.
When you hit the dumps they can make you smile.
No matter what happens between you the two of you can figure out a way to resolve things and grow closer.
You respect them more each month/year for who they are.

Think about the thing sand qulaities in your very BEST friend. Realize you will need most if not all of these in a soulmate.

If you can tell this person your most deepest darkest secrets and desires you would never admit under torture or death to anyone else you have probably found the one.

Life is a two way street so ask yourself do I posess the qualities in myself that I want in another? If the answer is no or not yet work on becoming a better person and they may just find you first!

I am living your definition of a soulmate. I believe that God has made some one for everyone. When and where you finally come together is a different story. I do believe that there is such a thing as Soul Mates. There has only been one human to touch my soul, unfortunately I was also his soulmate, but he chose someone else over me. Now I'm trying to put the pieces back together from a relationship that is over 12 years old. It seems to be working out pretty good.

im not sure. there could be but most people do not realize a person was perfect for them until either they die or the relationship is over. for me i met a woman who i thought was my soul mate only to have her completely change everything in the relationship after i said the 3 little words. so like i said it might be possible, but who really knows??????

Soul mate for life even if you ask GOD you get no answer.
Is somebody who I can fill it close to me but I can't see. I know is for me but why it's taking too long to get her in my arms and be like blind kissing her. Nothing see around just feel her fragile, tender body and see the stars in her eyes.
Don't torture me and remained me someone like that exists because I'm still waiting but not thinking when it happened.

I believe in reincarnation so it may surprise some people I say this but yes, but you can't focus on it,you can't not hook up with someone just 'cause there not the one, live life then whatever happens happens!!!

There is not one, there are many. There are several people that fit you, finding the right one out of the many is the key! You may have to talk to a lot of people before finding the right one.
