Try emailing them. Hey, remember me.....give them a list of your credentials. If you establish email contact, send them a resume, list of your successes and an addressed stamped envelope for the recommendation. It is worth a shot. I went to a small college, not a huge university. You could also contact the place you are applying and ask the same question. I am sure there are admission counselors who could help.

Maybe you could use work or masters level recommendations.

And since one of the requirements involve obtaining letter of recommendation from one of my professors, I tried to call up the university's office to explain my situation (just like yours). The clerk was considerate enough to accept my reasoning and just ask me to submit letters of recommendation from my present employer/supervisor. I think this is only required from the newly-graduate college students.
