I think of myself as being a renaissance person.
I have many interests and seek knowledge in many fields. I practice many skills. I feel that I will never know enough and will keep seeking knowledge until the day I die.

I guess it depends on what your criteria is. If you think this rennaisance person should be naturally creative and adept in both the arts and sciences I think you would have to say Michael Crichton.

Not only was he a gifted physician but he is also a gifted writer. I think he's even a television producer as well! Whew, I can barely make my way through the daily crossword puzzle!
