ello, im trying to get very thin scratches out of my friends finish, can you recommend a product? also its a black car and i guess somegody hit hit car with a dor and some white paint rubbed onto his car any way to get that off? thank you

Try 1500 grit wetsand paper , then 3000 grit. Use 3m Trizact to bring back the shine!

You need polishing compound with fine abrasive. Like the Turtle Wax. If it won't rub off the white paint extra fine sandpaper can help (2000 grit) Check this article: http://www.samarins.com/maintenance/bodymain.html

Rubbing compound from an auto-parts store will help the scratches, but your story is flawed, I think, hoping that is a good friend..

try rubbing compound. Use as little as possible to remove both the scratch AND the paint marks. Apply several times.

go to a auto parts store or a body shop and ask them about a very fine rubbing compound

try useing car polish for black cars, i've used the red car polish and it works real good
