Being a DJ isnt as easy as picking some popular tunes- what to play, when to play. When selecting your music, try to pick songs that have similar tempos so fading becomes easier, and the crowd less likely to notice you've changed songs.

Actually i would play hip hop and rap and rock because thats what gets the people moving...some slow song will do the trick...go to www.launchcast.com and go2 videos and click top 100 then you will see the songs people want to hear... =]]

Believe it or not.....some maturity is in the dance clubs....not much but some....and just wanted to let you in on a little secret.....when you get requests for hard rock....play it for them....you will demolish their entire atmosphere and ruin a good buzz if you don't.
seriously.....nine inch nails has some awesome remixes intense dancing.
(play tool or metallica and watch the rug-cutters try their damndest....hilarious.)
