How many horsepower does a 1968 BSA 441 Victor Special have?

I have the specks for the 1971 model. They should be very close. I believe the carbs, (stock) were changed on the 70, and 71, but as I said this should be close. 34 b.h.p. @ 6200 r.p.m. Also FYI, it made 37.96 lbs of torque @ 5000 r.p.m. Hope this helps.

The 34bhp sounds about right, the 250s made 17rear wheeel bhp Ultra special racing versions are making over 50bhp but the cost is astronomical. They are still very cheap by car standards though, you only have one of everything :0)

I don't have specific figures on that bike. But based on numbers I've read on other bikes of the same era I'd say high 20's low 30's are realistic.

avg on hp in those days is about 250 - 350 on small CID and 350 - 450 on big CID, i dont have the specific on that particular one.
