When the show opened the lights weren't working. There was something wrong with the electricaty.
The first match was Lita vs Candice Michelle in the women's tournament. Lita talked to Coach and was able to get Edge to be the referee in the match, Edge speared Candice and Lita won the match. John Cena then went into the ring and he and Edge got some hits in. John dissed Lita and later on tonight it's going to be John Cena vs Lita in a no-holds barred match, John will have one hand behind his back. However...if Edge lays one finger on John he looses his rematch clause against John.
Kane Vs Johnny Nitro was for the belt that Johnny has. Umaga was banned from the ring but Umaga intefereed in the match and cost Kane the match. Umaga put Kanes head between the ropes and slammed the steps on Kanes head.
Backstage, Coach got at Shelton Benjamin for saying that it's hard for a black man in the WWE and that he's upset because he's been overlooked. Jeff Hardy came in the back and was doing some sort of rap mess and now it's going to be Jeff Hardy vs Shelton Benjamin. In the match Jeff beat Shelton.
Ric Flair beat another member of the Spirit Squad.
DX just went through their first part of a 3 team Gauntlet Match. They beat the Scottish team. The 2nd team is Viscera and Charlie Hass. DX beat the 2nd team and are now fighting the 3rd team of Murdoch and Lance Cade. DX beat Murdoch and Cade.
Final match of the night was Cena vs Lita. Cena beat Lita with one hand tied behind his back as he did the FU with only one arm. Afterwards Booker T, Regal and that Fin Finaly guy jumped John and attacked him. Edge stood at ringside and laughed and nobody from the back came and helped Cena out. John was forced to kiss Booker T's foot and afterwards Edge got in John's face and told him that next Monday he will be using his clause to get a title match.
