Vlad The Impaler, he was actually the inspiration for Bram Stioker's Dracula. Full name Prince Vlad III Dracula. He was the real prince of darkness. He killed more than 100,000 people. Even the fiercest leaders feared him, because he was so brutal & crazy. He would dine & watch as people were put to death. He had them skinned, boiled, gutted, or his favorite, impaled on stakes, which could take days for the victim to die. He loved to kill people for any reason.

It's really hard to pick one worst thing. I don't think it's even possible. Of course there's hitler who is considered one of the worst men in history because he caused such a huge outbreak of a religious genocide throughout europe, but there are similar adn MUCH WORSE genocides surprisingly unknown. THey're in smaller countries and areas so no one knows about them but thought Hitler's genocide was terrible, there are others that are just as bad or worse for the same or more ridiculous reasons. You should really do some research on it, it's amazing and shocking hearing some of these things that went on and are still going on that most people have never even heard about.

The Hutu tribe. After the genocide of many of the Tutsi tribes in Rwanda and Burundi they moved onto the Congo where for the last 2 years they have slaughtered more than 3 million people. Add that to the genocide in Burundi & Rwanda and the numbers will surpass that of what happened during the Nazi occupation which was horrible in and of its self. What can humanity say to excuse the fact that we have done nothing in the year 2006 to stop the genocide and rapes of women and children in the world.

some of the most harmful events in history ( i feel)

-The holocaust
-The murder and destruction of the native american tribes across the globe by Europeans
-The transatlantic slave trade, killing over 8 million subsaharan africans and guaranteing another 20+ million to live under brutal conditions.
-The destruction of the library of Alexandria, setting back human scientific advancement 1000 years or so.
-The rise of patriarchal societies supported by religion, effectively
oppressing nd dehumanizing half the human race in Europe, the Middle East (and later America) for thousands of years.
