My power windows on 2003 Taurus work only a few inches before stopping.At times driver or passenger works fine

Then they freeze and you have to wait an hour and restart to close them.Both driver and pass. are affected

You may have bad window motors. Since both are affected it could be high resistance in the master switch as well. Take it in for a proper diagnosis.

it needs a window regulator.
