That would depend on the area of Canada you are wondering about...Usually the same as the Northern United States, some areas much cooler.

Which part are you asking about specifically? For the most part Canada is considered to be in the temperate zone and matches that of the northern states. The Northwest territories and the Yukon are colder and border on the Arctic circle. It's the second largest country in the world so to describe the climate in a broad statement wouldn't do justice to your question.
