I'm a freshwoman and I go to an all girls Catholic high school. I really love it and I really don't have to worry about what the guys are going to think about me when I'm answering the questions that no one else can answer. As opposed to if I were going to a mix school, the guys would think I'm a nerd. So going to an all girls school helps me focus on my school work more. Also, in the religion class, it's really open when we are discussing "girl" stuff and problems as a class.
by the way, I'm not even Catholic, I'm Muslim, and I still love my school and teachers.

I like Catholic schools. I go to one. It keeps my mind in my studies and on God and away from boys. I highly recommend it.
Ps. By the way, in case you're curious I'm in high school, 16 years old.
To "engineer": There are all male Catholic schools too.

i came from an all girls catholic high school. the nuns were strict, but we had a way of outsmarting them. we became creative and resourceful in making up excuses and alibis. yet, the teachings kept us grounded, but most of those who were not able to anchor themselves well left with hung ups when they joined the secular world. the thing is, you have to find a fit between the student and the school, be it religious or secular.

As for education you would be able to learn and concentrate better but for a teenage girl its hard to go to a school without boys!
