Please answer my question.=( about silent to the bone
Good Morning. My name is (your name here and I am here to tell you why you should vote for me as vice president. Various years students that have ran for vice president did not accomplish anything, but not this year because I am determined and will work to my greatest potential to make this year the most memorable year ever. It is the job of the vice president to help the president and it is both our jobs to represent you, my fellow students. I want each and everyone of you to know that I will take this job seriously and do it to the best of my ability, Any decisions I make and any decisions that I assist in making will be with you in mind. My goals are 1.Work with the president to get better lunches 2.Have as many fund-raisers as possible 3.Donate half of the money that is fund-raised towards the Class of 2007. 4.Work with the president to have as many dances as possible and many more. A promise is a declaration that one will or will not do something. As your vice president I will pledge to keep all the promises I make and will keep them. Now if you want the best, you have to vote for the best so for vote for me, (Your name here)as your vice president and I will look forward in making this year the best year ever. Thank your time and patience, and I hope you make the right choice!

Honesty and openness in government. At any level.
Why it is best to represent the ideas of your constituency, rather than your own. Tel them that you will LISTEN, and represent THEIR concerns.
Address the people in the audience. Make eye contact. Try to get them to laugh.
Be more concerned about their reaction, rather than how you feel! Focus on your audience, rather than yourself!
Here is a tip for any speech: Ask them something ("What do YOU want from your student council?" Listen. Take notes.). Tell them something ("This is what I will do for you if elected."). Give them something (Even if it is only balloons or glitter from the dollar store...).

Hey! I'm running for vice pres of my student council! My pseech is tomarrow in front of the whole school. What I'm doing is I'm being serius but funny too. I'm from woodstock, so instead of having a boring introduction of "Hello my fellow woodstock middle school students.' I'm putting "Hello my fellow Woddstockians." It may be a little lame, but they'll remember it. At the end, i say my slogan "A promise will never be heard, but the truth is in everyword." I say that I'll listen to them and fight for them. good luck!
