I have been collecting drug company pins for about 3 years now. I get them from Doctor's offices. Every drug company rep usually leaves a handful of these pins when they drop by a doctor's office. The reps are there to leave samples of the company's newest medications, and information for the Doctor on these new medication. The pins themselves are sometimes quite beautiful, elegant, and advanced looking, it doesn't matter that they don't write worth a crap. I guess the attraction for me is that I had wanted to be a Designer, and Engineer, as a boy. I was forever getting into trouble for drawing airplanes, cars, and spaceships, while the other kids were learing the three R's. I sometimes think that if the teachers would have encouraged me, instead of punishing me, for this I might have been a Designer/Engineer.

Do you mean writing pens? I stole a really great one the other day from my gynecologist that says "PREMARIN Vaginal Cream" in big letters. I like loaning it to boys in my classes when they ask me if they can borrow a pen.

I love to collect pens! Doesn't matter where they come from. I thought it was just me! I've been collecting pens for quite some time now and never really realized I was collecting them, until I saw how many I had! So, you're definitely not alone.

My sil works in a drs office and I get the cool sticky pads and pens too. They do have some neat ones and they write really well.

i collect the pens and the pencils that people drop of samples at all types of places it doesnt matter i just swipe them and the places usually dont care either
