You need to find your memory and figure out what type you have. I suggest taking it to a computer store, and they should be able to tell you.
Here is a good guide to find out how!

Adding memory to your computer can be tricky if you are un-familiar with it.
Best thing is to take it to Best Buy, CompUSA, local electronics store, etc. and have them do it for you.
The main problem is that many stores will not accept returns on used memory.
Couple this with the fact that not all memory is compatible with your PC and you run the risk of spending $40-75 bucks on a part that you can't use.
This is why I recommend just taking it to a computer/electronics store and having them upgrade it for you.

To add more memory to your computer, first you must open your computer.=)
There are 2-5 slots in there that are colored white at the ends. DONT CONFUSE THIS WITH PCI SLOTS.
there is a line in them at about the middle. insert the RAM chip and the hinges on the sides will close on it. close your computer. If installed correctly, if you go to [run] in the start menu, type DxDiag, there is a list of stuff and the sixth one down is memory. It displays the memory in MB.

what your asking about is RAM (Random Access Memory), these are actual circuit board which hold chips of memory on them. all you have to do is buy the stick or card of RAM and just snap it into your motherboard. Now there are different types of RAM and they all aren't capatable with every system. there are DIMMs (dual inline memory module), SIMMs (single inline memory module), and RIMMs (memory medules manufactured by Rambus, Inc.). all of the types of RAM are the following:
240-pin DDR2 DIMM
184-pin RIMM
184-pin DDR DIMM
168-pin DIMM
72-pin SIMM
30-pin SIMM

That's not going to be a memory (RAM) problem but more a configuration problem. Sounds like you need to install the drivers for the camera again.
