Unfortunately, there is no way to tell. All three motors use the same block with different crankshafts and bores. If anyone tells you any different they are lying. The only way to tell which block it is, is to find the serial number on the block. It's located on the left side of the engine, (passenger side,) against the firewall. You either have to remove the engine or use a mirror. Write the numbers down and call a machine shop and see if they will check their books and tell you which block it is. They can also tell you the year range the engine was manufactured for. If they won't do it your local dealer might tell you. Even some auto parts stores have that information. I have looked up at least three engines for customers where I work where the seller had told them the engine was a 327. Twice it turned out to be 350 blocks, and the other one turned out to be a 305 block. I can't count how many guys got an engine from a wrecking yard not knowing what it was and they turned out to be different motors.

Check the # on the block back by the distributor down by the bell housing or stamped on the boss pad in front of the passenger side engine head.
