Since the UN really is becoming corrupt and injust, we need to stop funding all of it and REFORM it BIG TIME! Things to be reformed you ask?
1. Anti-US sentiment
2. Anti-Israel sentiment
3. A STRONG peace-keeping force that is also a tactical unit
4. When a world crisis comes up like Iraq, Iran, and Darfur we hit them with a step by step disciplinary action including the use of force if they do not comply to simple reasonable demands like nuclear proliferation or quelling genocides.

US should be in UN not NATO.
Nato is more toward military/ army alliances and cooperation while UN is much more comprehensive in many levels like finance, economy and social like poverty, health, education, human right, politics and etc.
However, high price to pay for UN in having US in the organization since it has lost its credibility because of the War in the Middle East. Koffie Annand failed the World in order to stop US-led war and since then, UN suffers. More and more countries lost respect and see UN 'bow' to US rather than international organization for ALL countries of the world.
UN should be more free, efficient and fair. However, many claimed UN to be bureaucratic, a lot of red-tape,slow in action, poor decision-making, unfair and complex. With the Veto power granted to 5 nations, US faces tough road too in UN because China or Russia are less likely to agree with US.
From the Russians point of view, NATO's eastward expansion since the end of the cold war has been in clear breach of an agreement between Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev and US President George H.W. Bush which allowed for a peaceful unification of Germany. NATO's expansion policy is seen as a continuation of a cold war attempt to surround and isolate Russia. Whatever happens in NATO, Russia will take it personally to UN eventually. US cant find easy solutions in the world arena.
Regardless UN/NATO US will face critism as France, Russia, Germany or China which opposed the war for example ,surely will not go along with most of US policies. Moreover, NATO is considered very 'european' because of the history rather than international organization like UN. NATO was founded early in the Cold War with the express aim of defending western Europe against a military invasion by the Soviet Union. Thus, US has small influence in NATO as compared to UN.

Beyond the fact that we are the ones who started them!
In a foreign policy move that would later be questioned, President Bush achieved his stated objectives of liberating Kuwait and forcing Iraqi withdrawal, then ordered a cessation of combat operations —allowing Saddam Hussein to stay in power. His Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney noted that invading the country would get the United States "bogged down in the quagmire inside Iraq." Bush later explained that he did not give the order to overthrow the Iraqi government because it would have "incurred incalculable human and political costs... We would have been forced to occupy Baghdad and, in effect, rule Iraq".
In explaining to Gulf War veterans why he chose not to pursue the war further, President Bush said, "Whose life would be on my hands as the commander-in-chief because I, unilaterally, went beyond the international law, went beyond the stated mission, and said we're going to show our macho? We're going into Baghdad. We're going to be an occupying power — America in an Arab land — with no allies at our side. It would have been disastrous."

We sould not support the UN another day. They have become nothing more than a tool for the very ideas we are fighting against.
They are even more corrupt than the dems.
