David Byrne's movie: True Stories. It was made in the early 80s. It's based off of "true stories" form tabloid newspapers. It starred John Goodman and Swoozy Kurts. Great film. I think he predicted the future with the whole computers, shopping malls, psychics, thing. Great Talking Heads music too.
