You can have multiple firewalls set up, however for the every day user theres no need to have more than 1. The only reason a home user may wish to have more than one and it be useful is if they wished to set up a central server and certain ports needed to be opened for certain network connections.

No go.... If you have A FREE FIREWALL DOWNLOADED- OR BOUGHT- REMEMBER TO TURN off THE WINDOWS fIREWALL AS not TO HAVE 2 AT THE SAME TIME.
tO TURN OFF THE wINDOWS fIREWALL...

-Windows Firewall Settings

No. The firewalls will conflict with each other causing your computer to not allow programs (or even you) to access the internet and may lock up your computer. One software firewall should be fine.

It would be redudndant. One paired up with regular Antivirus scanning and Spyware scanning is all you need.
