I know exactly what you are saying!
I feel that this country was based on religion... for heaven sakes we have God in everything we do... that is being American and now asking whether Christians should get involved with politics??? That is an overwhelming YES!
For those who think otherwise... try going a few days without spending the money that has "IN GOD WE TRUST" molded on it... then decide if religion should be allowed to continue in the mold of our heritage!

As long as you keep your religious beliefs away from your political beliefs. The separation of church and state is not to protect religion from government...it is to protect government from religious fanaticism. So as long as you can do that...jump right in the water is warm.
P.S. Glory - for you to make your "IN GOD WE TRUST" comment clearly shows that you have no sense of history of when and how that statement was put on money. It's thinking like that which makes this question so important.

Freedom is the main important concept for many individuals's politics, the two conservative and liberal. they might have distinctive suggestions approximately a thank you to liver their lives, yet freedom is the making use of stress at the back of it. as an occasion, "do no longer tell me i won't be able to very own weapons to take care of myself," "do no longer tell me i won't be able to decide for an abortion if i want it," "do no longer tell me approximately your God, i do no longer want to pay attention it." All Freedom statements. In American politics, many would be "unmarried situation" voters, choosing a occasion on a unmarried situation or a minimum of the their maximum serious situation mutually with gun rights or abortion rights or taxes, as an occasion. those are generalizations, of course, yet are real with many, no longer inevitably all. the two events spout faith, one better than the different. although, the only president in modern situations that pronounced better than an needed "God Bless u . s ." become President Jimmy Carter. maximum might evaluate him to be a decrease than stellar president, yet his humanitarian efforts by Habitat for Humanity are unquestionable.

Yes. Absolutely! The separation of church and state is one reason but their religious beliefs above all should preclude them from putting any weight into a political system. They should answer only to God and stay out of politics.

You have the freedom to get involved in politics as long as you give us free pretzels and castrate your molesting priests.

No, I don't think that.
I think you shouldn't legislate based on your religious beliefs, but I have no problem with your involvement in politics

The USA like it or not, was founded on Christian values. This is why a lot of left-wing groups hate what the USA stands for. It's absolutely essential that Christians get involved if we are to receive fair representation.
