A couple of weeks ago it shut off and I couldn't get it started. My father put some gas in the throttle body and it runs again. What could be problem?

bad fuel pump or clogged fuel filter. by putting fuel in the TB he bypassed the filter and pump, so I would go with gettin a new filter, it probably gunked up but the clog came loose after the motor started.

The above are good answers. Also, check your fuel pump relay under the hood. They are an often overlooked problem. Be sure to inspect the ground connection from the pump. If the bolt that holds the ground wires on has somehow worked itself loose, that could cause an intermittent short in the connection.

If you have a test light, check if you are getting power to the fuel pump. There are four wires - 2 ground, 1 for the gauge power (hot with the key on), and 1 for the pump. When you turn the key on, the pump energizes for 1-3 seconds. You can run these tests when the problem is occurring

bad fuel injectors.
take it to the dealer. there is an updated warranty coverage good for 100,000 miles. it shouldn't cost you a dime if the injector is faulty and only if you live in California. Read this

General Motors has decided that some owners of 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1995 model year S/T and M/L trucks that are registered in the state of California, equipped with 4.3L engine (RPO L35 and VIN Code W) and California emissions (RPO YF5), may experience an engine hard start condition, rough running, a "Service Engine Soon" light, misfire, no start, stalls or catalytic converter odor due to failure of the Central Multiport Fuel Injection (CMFI) failure condition described above for a period of ten years or 100,000 miles (161,000 km), whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership.

The battery terminals look like the finished direction to initiate, i assume they are side post screw in form like maximum GM products from that era. I truly have 2 of them, both corrode kinda undesirable contained in the rubber, so it will be astounding in case you pulled the metallic area out and clean it. in case you stuck someplace even as this happens, grab a carry of the cable and turn it like your tightening it up, that would create a contact and also you'll get sufficient juice to get it all started.
