My picks are for Nomar and the Big Hurt. Nomar has carried the Dodgers this season, hopefully into the post season. Thomas has been a great bat for Oakland, who have really needed one, and he's a big part of the reason they're going to win the AL West.

This isn't even a close race this year. Nomar's comeback has far surpassed anyone else's. He went from utterly abysmal last year to elite this year. I also agree that Thomas is the only logical choice for the AL CBPY.

Scott Rolen of STL should win it. He still made the all star game with only 5 homeruns and 23 rbis. He and Pujols carried the Cards this year.
