A defective keyboard perhaps? Have you tried another keyboard on your computer that is known to be fully working? If so, are the results the same? You may need to replace that keyboard.

It could be possible that you got something in it that is making it defective. my grandma always smokes while at the keyboard and the ashes get in it, so sometimes her keys wont work. Either that, or its just a plain defective keyboard. Or, it could be stuck.

maybe you need to hit "insert" then backspace or delete.

You might have broke it. Replace the keyboard.
