(b2+7b+12) factors to (b+4)(b+3).

Multiply out and you get -2b-9=b2+4b+2b+6
then b2+8b+15 which factors to (b+5)(b-3).

b = -5,3

10 points please.

Consider the right hand side only for now. You need to add the fractions. The common denominator is (b+3)(b+4)=b^2+7b+12.

Hopefully this gets you started. I will leave the rest to you, as it is YOUR homework.
