Glasgow is bigger, brighter and friendlier than Edinburgh. But as with many countries it is the smaller, less interesting city that is the capital so let Edinburgh keep it's title because it has a castle, palace and parliament but little else going for it.

I love dear old Glasgow toon however it has let itself go. You walk about the centre and it smells.
Glasgow could become part of west Edinburgh?

eh no!what planet are you on?i love both Edinburgh and Glasgow,but Edinburgh is our capital and should have more recognition for it.Scotland rules!!!

yes, Edinburgh people talk funny, and auld reekie is hummin. the only good thing to come out of Edinburgh is the train to Glasgow.
