Start by expressing the problem as an equation:

x^2=x+56
subtract x and subtract 56 from both sides
x^2-x-56=0
Now solve for the roots using the quadratic equation:

(-b+/-Sqrt(b^2-4ac))/2a

a=1
b=-1
c=-56

x=8 or -7

0 is the different. somewhat algebra will instruct us: enable x² = x Then x² - x = 0 component and procure: x(x - a million) = 0 Then both x = 0 or x - a million = 0 So x = 0 or x = a million i imagine 1 million is only the only variety which has a sq. root of itself.. sq. root of four is two sq. root of 9 is 3 sq. root of 16 is 4 sq. root of 25 is 5.. So on and so on. 0 or a million
