Yes. And it was a hoax. The finger was put there by the woman who said she found it in the chili. The finger belonged to a relative of the woman who had it amputated in a medical proceedure. She just wanted money from Wendy's in a lawsuit.

The woman was prosecuted for her actions.

The finger found in the chili was actually placed by the woman who claimed to discover it. The finger belonged to her husband's co-worker;he lost the finger in a work-related accident.
It was a horrible hoax and cost Wendy's millions of dollars in lost revenue.
At this writing I believe the woman and her husband are serving time behind bars.

Yeah, they did - but it was a set up to make money off of Wendy's. The people were arrested and jailed for doing this. It was a real finger, but it was not Wendy's fault (it was a scam)

Yes. The rat woman who actually accused them was living in Las Vegas and ate at a San Jose restaurant. She got busted in the end. She deserved it. She had done similar crap at other places before getting busted. Some people are just plain greedy no matter the cost.

Yes, but the finger was planted. The finger belonged to a co-worker of her husband's and she had planted the finger herself. Now she is in trouble.
