what do you think that our government could be doing at home with all of the money that is being spent on the war in iraq?

Spending it on other useless stuff.

You mean besides giving it to the U.S. conglomerates as welfare payments? Keep fire stations open. Build community houses staffed with counselors for group and individual therapy, neighborhood meetings, recreation, for every 10 square miles of a city. Provide health care for everyone: a national health care system and not like the Dictatorship one in Massachusetts. Develop natural gas powered cars. Eliminate… err… as in remove… unjust people from government. Develop more neighborhood parks. Well… I could use a few bucks… boy, give me a minute more and I can come up with lots to do with the billions of dollars going overseas.

I love thinking about the "what-ifs" about life, but the situation can't change right now... so don't focus on it!

There are a ton of things that could be done with the money... however, most of them American's wouldn't agree with either.

They could have spent it here on our homeless but to think of the what ifs can be taxing

We need to clean up our OWN backyard before we can even think about cleaning up someone ELSE'S backyard! Take out the rod in our OWN eye so that we can see to take out the SPECK in someone else's eye! THAT'S what I think!
