Probably President Abbas of Palestine. If he is successful in creating a government of national unity with Hamas we may see the first steps taken in following the Road Map to peace. The resolution of the Palestine/Israel conflict would be a major boost to the aims of world peace.

Oddly enough, I would suggest George Bush.

He has sanctioned the destruction of one country, and supported the "great victory" of the Lebanese Islamists over Israel and showed the world what brute force can do.

Having witnessed two wars, which between them only took about four to five weeks, I think that even the most volatile of countries would be wary of America at the present time.

A balance of terror in't a nice kind of peace, but it is peace nonetheless.

George W Bush...

It's simple really all he has to do is stop talking. Maybe snack on some pretzels and retiring would help. Yeah, that's it... if he did nothing I think peace would be achievable. Let's face facts the more he actually does the less peace we have. It's logical really.
