Kingsnake is a good website but you have to do your research beforehand. Kingsnake is not the seller of the animals on the site. Each animal is from a company or breeder and if you aren't careful it is very easy to get scammed.
You can also check http://faunaclassifieds.com
Where ever you decide to purchase them, just do your homework on whichever company you decide to go with.
Most snakes do very well being shipped. And if you buy your snake from a reputable breeder or dealer, the animal will come with a live arrival guarantee. So, if for some reason the animal would die in transit, it would be replaced or money refunded.
Good Luck!
As far as someone below me stating, it is better to get them from a pet store because shipping will cause stress and unneeded shaking...... Just how do you think the snakes get to the pet store??? They are shipped in exactly the same method as buying from someone online!!

Contrary to what a previous person said, shipping is very safe for snakes when packaged correctly. I would much rather purchase a healthy snake from a breeder across the country than a sick, imported one from a pet store (as most pet stores seem to have imported snakes). However, there are bad breeders and wholesalers out there that are just as bad as most pet stores, and some pet stores that are better than some breeders. Do your homework first before purchasing any snake.
As stated before, Kingsnake is a good place to start. Another good option is to go to a reptile show near you to select a snake from one of the thousands available. You can check Kingsnake for shows near you.
Depending on what you want, I might be able to help you as well. I have a clutch of 8 Ball Python eggs that are due to hatch in about a week. Let me know what you're interested in, and I'll be happy to reserve one for you.
Good luck!

From my experience it is not a good idea to buy snakes off of the internet, your best bet is to go to a store..that way you can find one that you like...plus if they are shipped, there is a possibility that they will not be alive...plus all the shaking of the travel will make them uncomfortable thus making them irratible...so upon recieving your snake it could be in a really bad mood..so it is best to but snakes in stores because you can pick the one you like the best.

if you don't have any reptile expo shows near you then go get a Reptile magazine and look at all the ads for snakes, all the reputable breeders are listed there

if you can, dont order them. Many animals die in the shipping process. It is much safer to go to the pet store and select one, and you can see if it is healthy or not. But yes, http://www.kingsnake.com would be the place to order.

I wish you wouldn't because animals should live free in their natural world. Please do encourage this concept.
