believe certain classes of people are better than others. For example, if you didn't go to the best college, have a top of the line job, (not blue collar), or live in an expensive home, then you are not as good as they are. This is so wrong to me. I was raised to believe everyone is equal no matter how much money they make. My question is, are there a lot of other people who classify human beings in this way? This makes me really angry.

Sure there are people who believe this! They are hateful prideful arrogant and ignorant. We are all the same no matter how much money you have. I know a man who makes 750, 000 a year and lives on 100,000. He gives the other away to families who need it worse than him. He even experiences that! He drives a car that is 10 years old & went to pay for a 30,000 van in cash for a family at our church and got snubbed by the salesman/ Boy did that guy lose a good sale!

There are a lot of people who think that way. What they aren't smart enough to realize is that this attitude makes them the low class of the human race.

You never escape this "I'm better than you" mentality, no matter what group you belong to, unless you belong to none that is. It seems to always happen, some people do that. It's NOT fair or right. It's disgusting.

I think that it is less a matter or "equal" and more a matter of "value".
The types of sentiments you convey of your "married couple" are unnecessarily harsh and serve to 1) promote ill will and 2) betray their own sense of values and priorities.
Be careful of them. You may not be "good enough".

yes unfortunately there are, and some will say they believe every1 is equal and then turn their nose up at a homeless person on a street corner, i feel its wrong too because we are all ppl
