There is not a whole lot to do in Flushing...rather than a long drive to Mexican Town in Detroit check out neighboring cities Flint or Davison(Whiteys has great Fish&Chips).

I was just there last weekend.
we went to the birch run mall and did some shopping
Go to Frankenmuth, it's a very cute town ...what ever you do ..don't eat at the Baverian INN or Zenders...the only thing there that is original is the fried chicken and the mashed potatoes..i just found out that they get their stuff from Gordon's!!! yuk...maybe you can try a differnt restaurant in that area. If you like German food.
Go to the meditarreans restaurant in flint it starts with a T ..not sure. sorry/...oh there is The red rooster, that;s a ok restaurant for dinner...
You could try the French Laundry in Holly MI it;s really good!
or even the Cranberry cafe (not sure where exactly it is)

I agree, there isn't a whole lot to do in Flushing. Or in Flint.
If you want to shop, try the Birch Run Outlet Mall (but don't be shocked when you find that there aren't any "real" deals there. ) There's always Frankenmuth and the shops, Bronners, RiverPlace and you could have lunch/dinner at Sullivans or The Brewery Restaurant.

Check out local orchards for great fall apples and cider and fresh cinnamon donuts. Drive around the area for a great fall color tour. Shopping in Birch Run and stay away from Frankenmuth.

Checking the dictionary to be sure I'm not mistaken, you are going to Flushing, MI, not coming. Someone else can come to you, but you have to go to them or another place when you leave the place or person you are in or with.
