Okay, I'd like to start by saying that as far as I know, I AM STRAIGHT!!! But here's the problem, I was working on an advice article about wondering how people will react when finding out a close friend is bi/gay. The friend I tried it on is fine now, but it's a different one I am worried about. When I told my close friend of 3 years(a valuable close and caring 3 years)why I used the other person for this experiment, My reasoning was that my close friendwouldn't show reaction. When trying to prove she wwouldn't I went "what would you do if I were bi?" and she made "a face". I didnt make a big deal until now, when I flash back thinking she may have neglected me if this really happened. So here's the final question: How do I know my best friend would stick by me if I went the other way? And if you think I cant know, then, do you have any bright ideas to help us get closer or to hepus better understand each other? Please help, this is nagging at me.

Plus, you know, I'm young. I don't know what i'll be 5 years frm now, and if something ever did confront itself like this, I would want to know how she felt, even if I didnt have her support.

Hey, your problem is neither strange, nor, new.

You seem to be relying too much on what *others* think of you. It is as if you believe you are *good*, only if another says to you that you are *good*.

What really matters is how you believe in yourself. Develop that attribute. What I believe is called *emotional* IQ.

What others think of you, friends, or, not, should not really matter, then.

you could try saying somthing like, this article has really got me thinking, wat if somone we know really well turned out to be bi/gay? would you still be close w/ them? then mabey you could share your views on the topic. if she freaks out and says that bi/gay is so weird to her then she mite not accept you if u tunred out to be. if this matter is really important to u, definatly confront her.
