Diet along with exercise. Remember you are what you eat so don't eat sweets that are high in calories. You have to BURN the fat off by doing aerobics, etc. You cannot spot reduce but you can do exercises for the waist to tone up the muscles in that area. It has been said that you can have a 6 pack but with fat covering the muscles, you would never know it. Good luck!! Make it a lifestyle.

A. samwise potter, don't be judgemental! one day you'll want advise from someone about something, and hopefully they won't treat you in the bratty way you've treatd someone else.
if you want to reduce your waist, the best thing you can do is start lifting weights. that will boost your metabolism and tone your muscles--and it will help work your core. all models lift weights!!!!!!!!
once you get your strength up, start doing cardio. work your way up to doing 10-15 minutes of jogging.
remember to eat right--dieting is bad for you. you have to feed your body good kinds of fuel. if your eating burgers and other junk all the time, you won't lose the weight. so, start eating healthier. but, you don't have to be a nazi about it. just get into the habit of eating good things, and if you want a soda, drink one. but, only by itself (and try diet sodas, they don't have as much sugar).
hey, at lease your behind is smaller, right? you'll be fine in no time. if you can, talk to a personal trainer. they'll be able to show you how to use free weights and machines that will be the best for what you want.

If you reduce your waist, then everything else will also reduce, as you can only slim down your waist with weight loss. You will also need to do lots of toning exercises, to strengthen the abdominal muscles. I would recommend buing a core exercise ball, as this can be used to strength the deep abdominal muscles. Good luck : )

How long has it been since you had the baby ? ... what you need to do is get back to school ... get your HS diploma... take walks in the park and walk as much as possible. Have a healthy meal with all food group in-take ( if breast feedin )... what you can also stop spendin time lookin at your waist and spend more time lookin after the baby

sadly having a baby can sometimes ruin your body unless you are a rich superstar who can pay for nip and tucks etc. im afraid its just the usual eating properly and exercise when you can - but thats also hard when there is a baby to care for. i feel for you because i was the same when i had my baby.
there are lots of fantastic books and dvds out there espically for new mothers. once your baby grows up and is running about you will loose loads of weight chasing about after him/her lol. congratualtions tho!
young mums always get slated because some narrow minded people dont realise we all have stories and reasons. no one said nothing when people were mums years ago - it was the normal to be married and have a baby!

You could spend your time worrying about more important things. Like you said - you are 19, and you have a baby.
