My cousin believes that just because a runescape member pays to play that he/she cannot be permamently banned. I know this is false but I lack evidence, I've searched runescape rules but I still can't find it. Please give me the evidence I need from runescape that says a member can become banned permanently just like anyone else.

As was mentioned, you will need to read the Terms of Service agreement that everyone has to click "I agree" or whatever, before they can fully log into the game to play.

Just because someone pays for something doesn't mean they are above the rules. I pay taxes, therefore I pay Law Enforcements salaries, so I can't be arrested for breaking the law...... :-/

See, doesn't sound right now does it? Tell your friend he's a moron and to re-read his ToS he agreed to for the game.

Another thing to do is post on the Runescape official forums and ask the question there. You will get the same response, however you might get someone that will actually copy/paste the specific ToS statement regarding banning. (Sometimes they don't state 'Ban', but more along the lines of your membership can be revoked. And typically it's pretty open too, like 'we reserve the right to revoke a membership for any infraction.' Which means you can be banned for the simplest rule violation and do nothing about it, since you should have read that part.
