Mines about nine months old and he's supposed to be eating veggies, but he's not eating any at all, only worms, not even crickets now.
Is this normal for a while? Or what can or should be done?

If you are offering worms a lot, he probably won't want to eat "less tasty" items given a choice, especially if you are offering waxworms. Although high in calories, they offer little nutrition, it's like eating bon-bons all day! They may be GOOD, but too much of anything isn't good FOR you. I would need to know a lot more to give you a definate "is this normal?" answer. Beardies are as individual in their likes/dislikes as we are! My son's beardie LOVES ramen noodles, mine prefers chicken. When dealing with the experts, remember, experience is a far better teacher than any book. I read in an experts "guidebook" that beardies form no familial connections .B.S! Mine hear my voice and go nuts trying to see me.Ed (my sons ), does the same w/him. I could go on, but...bottom line is when in doubt, find a good rep vet & get him a check up! just like you would if your kid was sick, right? Take care& Good luck! from a devoted beardiemom of 9

Well it depends what kinds of veggies you are serving him and how you prepare the veggies. Are they chopped finely so he has no chewing problem? They love dark greens, try something different like green/red/orange peppers. Add some fruits. What kind of worms? If they are Silkworms, then consider it a good thing. If the silkworms is a big one, that's about the equivalence of 15 crickets. Normal? Well there are some animals who become fussy so you need to change it up a bit.

if i cant get mine to eat, i feed it red cabbage. he'll eat that. try it. also carrots he loves. Get the smallest crickets you can for it to eat and see if that works. Sometimes they refuse vegetables, mine is a little bit. If you dont already have them, get rep-cal pellets. If he still does not eat, you have to take him to the vet or he WILL die
