I'm not a superstitious guy, but the amount of evidence is starting to become a little bit ridiculous. Look at the list of Madden casualties:
Garrison Hearst, Barry Sanders, Dorsey Levens, Eddie George, Daunte Culpepper, Marshall Faulk, Michael Vick, Ray Lewis, Donovan McNabb and now Shaun Alexander.
All of the above players either got injured, retired or were cut by their respective teams. It's incredible.

I belived it after D-nabb gto injured last year and then looked back at the past players and realized it really is a curse. I told everybody who cared about football Alexander was going to f uck it up and everybody said he wouldn't injured because he was young and I said he would and he would play bad.

I had never heard of the Madden curse until now. Looks like you might be onto something. Let's see, who do we want to get rid of next year.... Do I hear TO anyone???

I do. I think Pat Summerall meant to put it on Madden when he got fired as Madden's partner but was probably too drunk and somehow messed it up and got it on the game instead
