I don't want anything sugestive. And i don't want anything too showy. I've thought maybe once i get married, me and my husband can get eachother's name tattooed on ourselves...wouldn't that be cute?

never anybody's name.put that on a ring. My sister had to get her tattoo removed. It was her fiancees name. they ended up not getting married.

go to tat shops and look at their pics (flash). Do this many times before you decide to get one. Make sure that it is the one you really really want, don't make any spur of the moment decisions as this is something you will have to live with for the rest of your life. I would advise against ever getting someones name tattooed on you unless it is the name of your child, because no matter how much you love someone and feel like you know you will be together forever, things can change. (I know, I was married for 11 years and thought we would be together forever, but it didn't happen, no matter how hard I tried. I am just glad that we didn't ever have the others name tattooed on us, because I would have definitely regretted that!) You don't want to be stuck with the name of your ex on ya. Too many people make that mistake and regret it afterwards. Make sure that once you decide what you want that the tattoo artist and the shop is clean and reputable. Make sure they use a clean preferably new needle on ya. That is as important as what kind of tat you are gonna get. Also look at the artists past work, they should have a portfolio of pics for you to see. This will show you how good an artist they are. If you don't like the quality of their past work, go somewhere else.
Whatever you decide on, make it yours. Think of something that really means something to you. Make your tat personal..not like everyone else's. Be original. All of my tats have a special meaning for me.

DO NOT get each others names tattooed on each other. I have a few friends that did this and each and every one of them regrets it. get a tattoo of somthing that means somthing to you. alot of people get mindless tattoo's such as a tribal emblem or a slutstamp on there lower back. maybe after you have a child have there name tattooed on you if you MUST put a name on yourself. because no matter what that child will always be your child, your husband may not always be your husband no matter how sure you are.

i wouldnt recomend getting your spouses name tattooed because
1. most tattooers will not do it because of reason 2
2. if you get a divorce it would be painful and hard to remove
so no it would not be cute if you got a divorce
and i would recomend something that means something to you, something that represents you, so dont worry about what other people think about your tattoo or you, its what you think that really matters!

Yeah the name thing is cute, but you should get something else that's unique for just the two of you, then you'll love it even more. Make it your own is what im saying.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL "It reminds me of what I did 2 years ago. We went to Mexcio and had a little bit too much to drink............... I went in and had a tattoo of my husband done on me ............. It's about a 5"5 done on my calf. It reads "Superman _(his name)____________ on it ! With the emblem of Superman tradit on it. He totally was exstatic about it! I thought it was stupid when I sobered up ! Heck ! If I was sound of mind I don't think I could have taken the pain. It's really detail. I thought I'd share that with you ! HA!

I`ll tell you now Do NOT get his name tattooed you! Cuz life is not sure and you`ll have that reminder all of you life after that!
Instead i say get something that means alot to you @ your deepest level.

yes it would be cute. I have a little tiny tiny red heart (i got it on my 18th birthday) right on the middle of my lower back. it's really cute, but very tiny.
