My friend Mimi is moving to another state in November, but she wants to go out with this guy named Jake, she really likes Jake, but he is bisexual, and he doesn't want to carry on with any relationships at the moment. Only Mimi doesn't know he doesn't want to date anyone. But when I asked Jake if he liked Mimi he said he did so I asked him if he would ever go out with her and he said that he didn't want to go out with her or anyone at the moment. But Mimi really wants me to ask him to go out with her but I know that he doesn't want to go out with her. And on top of all that he's my exboyfriend, we still hang out but still I don't know what to do. Please help!

Instead of trying to find a way to tell your friend that he doesn't want to date her try to convince her that it maybe it isn't a good idea that she want to date anyone right now because of her moving in a couple months. Tell her that if she started going out with someone then she would just break their heart because they would get too attached to her. This way you are telling her that it's a bad idea and at the same time you are complimenting her by saying she is so likeable. If that doesn't get her then tell this guy to approach her and tell her himself. Why should you be stuck in the middle?

Tell Mimi that she really needs to handle this on her own - and that you don't want to get in the middle that might somehow mess things up.

Wow, sounds complicated. You should tell her that he isn't interested in seeing anyone right now. It is better to tell her the truth then lie to her and keep it from her. Good luck

If she is your friend you should tell her. You are being a bad friend by letting her look stupid by wanting a guy who obviously doesent want eo be in a relationship.
