sounds like an odd question but really I find it rather profound. We are supposed to be reflected in a mirror...however if people truly saw what the mirror reflected there wouldn't be SO MANY people wearing those clothes that look awful on them....
I would have to say, though a mirror reflects what is placed before it, it requires the person in front of the mirror to see the truth of the reflection instead of seeing the image through false eyes. This holds true regardless of the image being reflected.......truth is truth.....whether is the beautiful girl that thinks she is ugly.....the scrawny boy who see's himself as muscular......or the evil one who sees himself as righteous.

I think it depends on the mirror. You probably -do- look exactly the same with a regular bathroom mirror (or something similar) but the image is in reverse. On the other hand, carnivals always have those 'funhouses' where the mirrors distort what you look like. :o)

For the most area particular,with the exception that left and authentic are reversed. and obviously,till you're in a carnival relaxing abode,which then who knows what the mirrors photo will look as if.

or is the real question, do we look like what someone sees us as or do we have a different veiw of ourselves when we look in the mirror?

No there are mirrors that make you look half inch fat and some that make you look half inch shiny i have both
